What equipment have you used for the Podcast’s set? Any commments you’d like to make about it?

The set I made for this podcast was made on Ableton over 4 Audio channels, the same I use to play my dj/sets at clubs. The Set is not really an example of my sound when I play in clubs.. I have taken the chance to play tracks that I love but don’t fit at the present time with my 3, 4 or 5am in morning sound, so I would say that is really to listen, chill out and enjoy the sounds and details. it has been made pretty much all the way at 119 BPM.. I really enjoyed making cos’ it is a territory that I am exploring a lot at the moment, so a good chance to show some of the best stuff I found. (To listen to what I am about in a normal club night I would suggest to go to my promo sets on my soundcloud page)

With which do you work or have you started to produce in the studio?

I started messing with Acid Pro and Cool Edit after I started to work on Ableton, and now I work on Logic which I sometimes rewire Ableton to. I am slowly introducing Maschine into my productions, and very possibly I will use it in the future for a live act but that may take time.

How difficult is it for you to find really a point, to leave a track in which one in such a way as he is without changing once more a Tomb or Snare or doing handicraft in a Synthie?

It can be pretty difficult sometimes and other times easy. I guess it depends on what type of track I am making and how familiar the style of it is for me. But really, the track is finished when a label has taken it on and I have sent it to the mastering studio.

Your most important musical influence?

Aside electronic/dance music, what I have been through music-wise for a long time (because I was playing in bands since the age of 16 till I was 24), has been popular music from any decade, and this is one of the reasons why melody plays a very important part in my productions. What has caused the most impact on me as a listener has been The Beatles, which is my favorite band overall. As for electronic dance music, I am listening to a lot of old School house and Acid, and even some old electro.Today’s artists like Konrad Black, Martin Buttrich and Jamie Jones stand out in my mind. I could mention a lot of other names but it would be never ending really.

What was the nicest moment in your career as a musician?

I think the nicest moment is when you actually feel that you are a musician because you have overcome doubts and feel confident of your abilty.

In which club do you best hang out?

Surely Bar 25 in the first place, I love Fabric, Panorama, Watergate, Goldengate and Arena.. Sure im forgetting some.

Which projects do you still plan for this year? Are Remixes planned?

I am already working on my next Ep on Get Physical Music. It has not got a release date yet as we are just looking into tracks and picking up the best cuts. I am currently remixing a track of Booka Shade called Scaramanga from their last album, and I have two remixes on the way – one I have made for Sarp Yilmaz (an artist from Istanbul), which will be released on Trapez, and the other i’ve made for Daytona (spanish artist), which will be released on Redlight Music (Alicante/Spain). Both are to be released sometime this year.

Besides that, I am working a lot on an Event project with two good friends – The Limit 500 party, which takes place every 3 months or so at Barraca Club in Valencia, Spain. We are on our 4th edition and doing very well.

What do you do if you do not stand sometimes somewhere behind the DJ’s writing desk?

I love to sit down and just listen to good music. There is nothing more relaxing than laying down and listening to Astor Piazzola’s pieces. I love to spend time with my girlfriend and friends. I am a very city person and love walking around town and observing city life, and surely I love my partying, haha!
